Seven Stars Secures Seed Funding for Next-Gen Puzzle Games
Mobile games startup Seven Stars has successfully secured seed funding aimed at developing the next generation of puzzle games. The company is spearheaded by Alex Le Bell, the former CEO of Tridify, with Olli Aurola serving as CTO and Markus Tuppurainen, a former creative director at SciPlay, also on board.
The team at Seven Stars is a mix of junior talents and seasoned industry professionals, boasting experience from notable companies such as Rovio, Moon Active, Next Games, Seriously, and Small Giant Games.
This funding round was co-led by Spintop Ventures and Behold Ventures, with backing from Sisu Game Ventures. Additional support has come from Failup Ventures, Timo Soininen (former CEO and co-founder of Small Giant Games), and various angel investors. Seven Stars has also received funding from the EU to bolster its research and development project.
