Remote Nomad Jobs
100% remote jobs for digital nomads
Remote Nomad Jobs is a curated job board featuring 100% remote jobs tailored for digital nomads. Join the location-independent workforce to travel and work from anywhere in the worl.Hi Product Hunters! π
I'm thrilled to introduce you to Remote Nomad Jobs, a project my co-founder Irene and I created out of our passion for remote work and the freedom it offers βοΈ
As avid travelers and digital nomads ourselves, we struggled to find a reliable and comprehensive job board that catered specifically to remote opportunities for digital nomads who usually have different needs from other remote workers or work-from-home professionals. This is because digital nomads need a remote job that they can do literally from anywhere in the world β
This frustration sparked the idea for Remote Nomad Jobs, a curated job board that brings together the best 100% remote positions that anywhere can do from anywhere in the world π
We want to empower professionals to break free from the traditional office setup and embrace a location-independent lifestyle, so our goal with this product is to ensure that every job posted allows you to work from anywhere, whether it's a cozy cafΓ© in Chang Mai π, a beach in Bali π, or the living room of your Airbnb π
We'd love to hear your thoughts! What challenges have you faced in finding remote work? What features would make Remote Nomad Jobs even more valuable for you? Your feedback is crucial as we continue to improve and expand our platform. Let's all redifine the future of work together! ππΌ Looking forward to your insights and questions!@luca_mussari Congrats on your launch day! Wishing you great success and new opportunities. What challenges did you overcome to get here?@luca_mussari Hi Team congrats on the launch! What would you say sets you apart from other HR pages working on this problem?:)@berkaydin Which HR pages you are referring to? There are very few platforms in the market that offer 100% remote and work-from-anywhere jobs and are specifically aimed at digital nomads and location-independent workers, so I'd love to hear your thoughts on the ones that you are aware of π@kjosephabraham Thanks so much!
A ton, indeed! It's very difficult to identify great sources and companies that offer 100% remote and work-from-anywhere jobs due to the legal challenges that this implies and due to the fact that many companies tend to advertise themselves as remote when they instead apply geographical restrictions, so for us, they are not really that "remote".
There is also a big push to come back to the office from many big companies lately, so we hope that many other smart companies will understand the value of attracting all the amazing digital nomad talents out there. Many digital nomad talents have the skills to add so much value to companies, so we want to make sure we reward and advertise the smart companies out there that understand this!
From a technical perspective, we also had some challenges in fine-tuning our logic and making sure that it fits with our mission. We think there are still a ton of features to be added and many things to improve from this v1 so hopefully with the help from the PH community, we will gather some helpful feedback πThanks for sharing + when there are credible jobs from renovated companies at least it builds trust. :)@busmark_w_nika Thank you for sharing your thoughts, much appreciated π We will definitely look into sharing as many jobs from credible companies as possible as we think there are a ton of great companies out there that are suitable for digital nomads!Congratulations on the launch! Can you give me a little insight on the job market for nomads? How is it validated?Hey @ashrita_kumar, thanks so much! I could list all the amazing stats of this growing market but there are great sources online which would do a better job than myself. A great resource is this Statista report that collects many interesting insights: https://www.statista.com/topics/...
You'll find a ton of stats around their demographics, occupation and behaviour. It helped a lot during my research, so hope it will help you too!i like it.
the only irk i have - when you select a job type from the drop-down, it leads you to a lorem ipsum page and doesn't filter by the job type. also, would love to see an option to see the job description without leaving the search page.@macakmacak Thanks for flagging! This should be fixed now.
That's also a great insight! May I ask why you prefer getting the description in the search results over going directly to the actual job description page?
