JumpStart's Expansion in Canton

Constellation Center for Excellence

JumpStart, a Cleveland-based nonprofit dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship, is set to open a new office at the Hall of Fame Village in Canton, occupying nearly 2,000 square feet in the Constellation Center for Excellence by February. This center, located at 2014 Champions Gateway, is a part of a 100-acre entertainment destination centered around the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Last year, JumpStart collaborated with the Stark Community Foundation and the Stark Economic Development Board to launch a local entrepreneur-in-residence program. The center's attractive common areas and complementary tenants make it a desirable location for clients.

A Strategic Partnership

Michael Crawford, president and CEO of the Village, expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing that JumpStart's commitment to fostering innovation aligns perfectly with the Village's goals for economic development.

Entrepreneur-in-Residence Program

Dan Brown, the entrepreneur-in-residence who co-founded Rust Belt Riders, has been instrumental in assisting local startups since August 2023. The new office will serve as a site for one-on-one advising, workshops, and the Small Business Impact Program.

Future Outlook

JumpStart aims to help businesses identify permanent locations within Canton or Stark County as they grow. The initial lease is for three years, with plans to expand support staff due to local interest in the program.

Lorne Novick, chief services officer for JumpStart, highlighted the community's proactive desire for their services, indicating a commitment to long-term engagement in Stark County.

Other tenants in the mixed-use facility include Starbucks, Driven Elite Fitness, and Regus, among others. The Village encourages those interested in leasing space to reach out to their real estate broker.
