Elora
Elora is tackling the overwhelming demands faced by care teams. Their software aims to enhance the intake process, documentation, and monitoring of frontline caregivers. Currently, they are in discussions for a multi-year contract with a healthcare organization. CEO Shawn Ramirez, who has an impressive background in data science, previously worked at Glue, Shelf Engine, and FutureFit AI.
Evvi Aftercare
Founded by Sydney Dahl, a University of Washington alum and former Apple manager, Evvi Aftercare offers cremation services and a virtual funeral director to support families during the emotional process of saying goodbye to their pets. The startup has recently acquired Resting Waters Aquamation and is opening a new facility in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood. They graduated from Techstars NYC last year and have raised $1 million to date.
Realtie
Located in Redmond, Washington, Realtie helps brokers and developers find off-market redevelopment opportunities, particularly in light of House Bill 1110, which promotes middle housing development. The startup has formed an exclusive partnership with Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty, granting access to its platform for 250 brokers in the Seattle area. The team is led by experienced real estate leaders Tadashi Shiga and Ofer Avnery.
Zalpha Mobile
Zalpha Mobile presents a unique solution for parents concerned about the impact of smartphones on children: a "dumb phone" that mimics a smartphone's appearance but restricts functionality, offering only music, texting, and calling. CEO AJ Rice emphasizes the need for a kid-safe alternative, having discovered this gap while speaking with hundreds of parents.
Zucca
Zucca is innovating in the food and beverage sector by utilizing generative AI to aid companies in developing new products. With $1.5 million raised so far, CEO Karen Huh believes that AI can significantly impact consumer packaged goods development. Zucca’s founding team includes industry veterans with experience at major companies like Starbucks and Amazon.
