Conversational surveys that deliver deeper insights

TheySaid is more than a survey - it's an opportunity to engage your customers, employees, members, etc. Training AI takes less than 1 min by pointing it to you URL or internal doc. Your audience can answer and ask questions as if they are talking to you!Hi, Product Hunt Family,

Most of you are trying to get to Product Market Fit or improve your Product Market Fit just like I do, but the feedback we need to iterate quickly is really hard to get.

I'm Lihong, co-founder and CEO of Theysaid, and I'm here to help us solve this problem. Here is how it works, Set up is super easy with 3 clicks and no keyboard required. (disclaimer, no keyboard was broken when I record my video:-))

  1. Point Theysaid AI to training material, right now it is your website. Soon we will allow multiple training source and format.
  2. AI generated survey questions.
  3. Send it via your existing communication channels in your customers journey.

Most Fun part of Theysaid is that your well trained AI will engage with your audience in the survey as if you are interviewing them.

Here is the survey Theysaid AI created for Product Hunt community.

How helpful do you find the community discussions and interactions on Product Hunt? https://ai.theysaid.io/survey/34...

And QR code in the Media image. If you are someone working at Product Hunt, please reach out to me to get access to the survey results.

I want to end this with a fun ask. Looking for some feedback and crazy creative questions to show the world how AI survey can accomplish. We have done surveys on Olympics, Harris and Trump campaign. Maybe Getting feedback on your dating profile or your resume. How about your startup ideas? All feedback and ideas are welcome, I will be sure to give you credits!

Thanks and Cheers! Lihong Co-founder & CEO @ Theysaid https://www.linkedin.com/in/liho... Theysaid.io@atulkumarx Thank you for your support!@lihong_hicken Cool product and a smart implementation. Did a pretty good job during a quick test run. Congrats on the launch, Lihong!@lihong_hicken First off, I love the name! TheySaid! it's simple and tells you what it does right from the start.

The ability to train the AI, the and get more meaningful data is going to be a difference maker for so many startups working hard to get feedback. Internally I've asked this many times, "what would they say about..." - let's find out! :)

Best of luck! Thanks Gabe @mogabr - yes let's find out!@lihong_hicken Congratulations on the launch, loved the use-case and design. However, I was able to direct the conversation to something different and it worked as a charm, I legit used it to generate copy for my website, I would def suggest you to implement some guardrails around the responses and things/topics that can be interacted with the AI Bot.

Other than that, solid use-case, kudos to the team.Lihong, this is a game-changer! 🎉 Theysaid sounds like a must-have tool for anyone navigating the tricky waters of Product Market Fit. The ease of setup and no keyboard requirement has my fingers itching to give it a try! I'm curious about the AI-generated questions—any chance we can customize those for niche audiences? Excited to see how this evolves, especially those wild ideas like dating profile feedback! Keep it up, Makers!@ema_elisi Thank you for your support! Yes! You can fully customize the existing questions that the AI generates and you can create your own set of questions as well. So fully customizable!@ema_elisi Yes. our middle name is customizable. :-) Thanks for the kind words!@ammaramaya I am open to it, please DM me in Linkedin, happy to hear more. This is really cool and exactly what I've been needing recently. Previously, I've been using Tally.

From my experience, the most important aspect isn't the form of the survey itself, but how to effectively reach the relevant users with it. Lately, I've been studying this area.

Anyway, congrats on your launch, team TheySaid!@bonvisions yeah. you sound like you have done your research:-) I have dedicated my whole career on this, to keep it simple.

  1. if you are sending this to your existing customers, set it up in their natural journey.
  2. If you are doing market research, you can send it to a survey panel-- they can be expensive and most folks are paid by the boring survey.

Question for you, should Theysaid provide a testing panel for you to easily tap into?Love that there's a way to go deeper on the feedback in real-time. So many times when I'm running a survey, I want to know more about what was said or selected—by then, it's too late! This is a really interesting solve.@kacy_boone1 Kacy, agreed. What you describe is called " NPS season" or " Survey season" where your customer facing teamss will pause what they are doing and reach out to get context from their customers. It is not a fun job and not helpful. because usually you are met with silence.

Being able to go deep and ask follow up questions when the customer is still there is way better than trying to reach out multiple times and get nothing. We hope you get a chance to give TheySaid a Try!
