Ruby is an all-in-one financial platform for e-commerce businesses, including banking, corporate cards, accounting, analytics, reimbursements, chargeback protection and more.Hi Product Hunt,

We are super excited to introduce Ruby, an all-in-one financial platform for e-commerce businesses that includes banking, corporate cards, accounting, analytics, automated 3PL and logistics reimbursements, automated chargeback resolution and more.

đź’ŽBackground

Before building Ruby, we spent a few years building and operating several e-commerce businesses together. We first launched Ruby after discovering how fragmented our financial data was and how much time we were wasting managing our finances while running our own businesses. With our financial data scattered between several different platforms and providers, we resorted to a mess of excel sheets to keep track of everything.

Like many other e-commerce businesses, we also discovered that as we scaled, we were losing thousands on chargebacks that we didn’t have the time to fight effectively. We were even more surprised to see that we had been overcharged thousands in fees on our 3PL, which we only discovered after scouring through a pile of reports. Worrying about all this lost revenue and wasting time sorting through our finances only added to the already difficult job of operating an ecommerce business.

💎Ruby’s Mission

Our goal has always been to help businesses operate more efficiently by giving them all the tools they need to optimize their business and manage their financial operations efficiently. Ruby’s tools give even the smallest e-commerce business access to tools they can use to keep their finances in check as they grow. With our full suite of products, businesses can now expand their toolkit to get a birds-eye view of their business, and save even more time and money with our newest tools. Some businesses can potentially add 1-3% of their GMV back to their bottom line, resulting in tens of thousands saved.

Sign up today to get started! Thank you to @mwseibel for hunting us!@mwseibel @skabir8 Congrats on the launch Shariar. Having all financial needs consolidated into one platform would save e-commerce business owners countless hours and headaches. The free month and options are a great incentive to try it out. :)@devindsgbyq hey there! We have integrations into your marketplace or payment processor allowing us to get realtime information about the order and chargeback. Our most popular platforms are Shopify and PayPal. We have a few other platforms like Stripe in beta testing. Is there a specific platform you’d like to see?@rohanrecommends thanks Rohan I appreciate it!@skabir8 Congrats on the launch! Does Ruby offer any tools for managing payroll alongside its other features? It reminds me a little bit of Pliant. Is it a similar solution?

BTW, I like the design of the web page. :)@busmark_w_nika thank you! It’s a little similar when it comes to the spend management, but we are looking to consolidate all financial ops under one platform so we provide more specialized solutions for e-commerce businesses.Congratulations @skabir8 @jordan_yaqoob @miguel_acero on this exciting launch!

Question for discussion: how do you position Ruby vs. Brex, Mercury, Ramp, et al?Super inclusive! I feel like this goes so far beyond what options like Shopify really have for the market at the moment. Maybe Stripe is the closest? But they don't have the same suite as you do. Really cool, well done!!
