Especially as you say, always entering the prompt intro with "act like a regex expert" is so boring and repetitive.
Would be nice if you could also add a regex tester to remove another step and be able to test the regex directly against different examples.

That’s a great idea, BTW! I just wanted to focus on one key feature and implement the most simple UI. But yes, allowing the user to test the RegEx directly in the same app is a huge improvement, I will consider it 😄Haha love the first part of the description "Let's be honest, none of us actually understand regular expressions". I can resonate - whenever I use regex I have to look the syntax up and it's very annoying.
