My name is Daniel, and I'm the Maker of Life Note.

As a decade-long meditator, lifelong learner, and knowledge worker, I understand how lonely the self-discovery and personal growth journey can be.

That's why I created Life Note—a tool that delivers personalized wisdom, both timeless and timely.

In the age of AI, we need to be more creative to stay relevant, and authentic creativity requires looking inward. The greatest minds have always turned to their inner world for inspiration.

We're now flooded with tools to organize external knowledge, but I believe it's equally important to have tools designed for self-knowledge, aligning our hearts and minds.

Try Our Users' Favorite Feature - Journal with Your Inspiring Hero

Now, our users are journaling with Carl Jung as a therapist, Steve Jobs as a product coach, Jay Shetty as a spiritual guide, and Aristotle for philosophical insights.

Here are some of our user testimonials:

"I think I have just found the most life-changing journaling tool!" - Gigi Ho

"The journaling with Jung is so real that I really felt like I’m personally talking to him." - Youssef Abdelati

It's better than just using ChatGPT or Claude for long-term mentorship, and I see a lot of opportunities to make it even better.

I’d love for you to try it out and share your feedback with me.

Namaste, Daniel W. Chen@max_savonin1 These are great questions and I'm glad you asked.

What AI models or language models are used to power the mentoring interactions? How are these models customized for different historical figures?

  1. I use Claude and ChatGPT interchangeably. The models are super customized. Each historical figures have its own set of prompts and prompts are further personalized based on the interaction history with the users and their feedback.

Can users personalize their journaling experience by selecting specific topics or areas of focus?

  1. yes, when the user sets their yearly goals and life goals, it will make the journaling experience even more personalized. the mentors remember all your entries to the depth of the obstacles you've faced, your emotional and behavior patterns, values, etc.

How does Life Note ensure the privacy and security of user data and journal entries?

  1. I use the industry standard AES encryption algorithm to encrypt the data and the encryption key will soon be managed by AWS. I'm also researching differential privacy as privacy is the foundation and utmost priority for a journaling and life companion app.

Please do try out the journaling feature and we can discuss the potential collaboration! My short-term vision is for this to become "Perplexity for Personal Wisdom".

I really appreciate your passion for Life Note! Where best can I contact you?Congratulations Daniel ! Are there any legal limitations from using the names of the thinkers in Life Note's offering ? Or is it something you worry about later, when you have reached a certain growth?@aris_nakos Thanks Aris! Something that I've done a bit of research but haven't reached any formal conclusions yet. Will conduct more research.Cool approach to the mental health topic

How do you segment data for feelings?

Eg when do you have a certain threshold of feelings of anxiety?

Congrats on the launch 🚀@casper_brix Thanks for the question Casper!

Currently I reference Yale's research to understand and categorize emotions. But I want to go deeper with the research and apply it to the product.

Detecting the adequate threshold of anxiety and offer guidance is something that'll make the experience great.
