I’m excited to share the story behind the creation of Griddr. My girlfriend and I started this journey after a particularly memorable incident. We had a big fight because I couldn’t capture a perfectly symmetric photo, something incredibly important to her as a pixel-perfect UX designer. This made me realize that the default iOS camera app wasn’t built for this purpose, with its limited 3x3 grid. 📷
Determined to solve this, we combined our skills—her eye for design and my development know-how—to create Griddr. It became a symbol of our love and collaboration. ❤️

Speaking of the grids, my girlfriend did research to figure out all the common grids for the MVP version.
For the premium plan, Totally! We are going to add more grid types for sure. We are not clear what other features/customization options would be more helpful. So we are really looking forward to hearing more from our users.
