VISIT STARTUP

Reduce the file size of any image in two clicks on Mac, right from the Finder. Offline. Private. Works on hundreds of images at once. Automatically converts HEIC to JPG—no more large iPhone photos.Hey guys,

this is a quick side project app I initially created for my own use. I sent it to couple of friends who also use it so I decided to make it a full product.

Give it a go, it's free to try. After certain amount of uses, it will prompt you for a small one time fee of $3.99 for which I am giving you guys 50% off with the code: PRDCTHNT.

I am looking forward to any feedback regarding the product or the product page :)

Thanks! Vojta@vojta_bohm Congrats on the Launch! Doesn't macOS have this built in, what is better with this tool?@rosekamallove Hey Rose. It doesn't actually. You can work around it using Preview. But nothing as fast as this. That's the reason I created it.@kshitij_mishra4 Thanks! When uploading images to web forms, there are usually restrictions on format and maximum size. I used to be forced to use HEIC to JPG websites, upload original, download the transformed image and use it in the original form I was trying to submit.

This has become super easy now. I can just select a bunch of photos from my iPhone and convert them to JPG in bulk using the native Finder. The reduced size is a cherry on top for me!

Amazing app - simple and effective. It truly solves a real-world problem. Great job!@daniel_bukac Thanks for the kind words Daniel! The case you talk about also bothered me.Congratulations on the launch! Does your product include features beyond compression, such as format conversions? If not, are there plans to introduce this capability? Also, what inspired you to create this?@kavyaaatripathi Hey there. Thanks for the questions. It automatically converts everything to JPG. That seemed like a good compromise so you could do it in two clicks, without selecting anything.

To be honest I didn't want to introduce too many features because I wanted it to be a very lightweight and simple utility you don't need to think about and just use it to compress images.

And the general case I had was to just select a bunch of images and lower their size. Usually also in HEIC format, hence the auto-conversion.This looks really great! I just downloaded it, quickly set it up and now I can compress all my images with 1-2 clicks?! Neat.@ondrejkorol Thank you Ondra!
